DeAnna Hernandez has loved to bake since she was a child. She jokingly says it all started when she received an Easy Bake Oven for Christmas at a very young age. At 12 years old, DeAnna learned to decorate gingerbread houses and found that each one she made got a little more elaborate. Thus developed a love for the art of decorating desserts. For years, DeAnna worked as an administrative assistant and sampled her baked goods to her fellow employees. DeAnna's treats were always anticipated for any holiday functions and gatherings. In 2001, DeAnna was given the opportunity to open her own bakery with support from her family and friends. With the help of her father, "Gramps", she ran CookieCutter Bakery in Northwest Houston, Texas until her family transferred to Oklahoma.

In January, 2008, DeAnna was convinced that she should open a custom cake and dessert shop in the growing community of Owasso. Ever since, D's Sweet Designs has been a treasured fixture in Northeast Oklahoma. Consistent quality, a warm, cozy atmosphere, and plenty of cookie or cake samples have made D's the favorite place for tasty treats.

DeAnna is not only famous for her delicious cakes, dessert bars, and cookies. D's has also added a wonderful new treat to the menu that has taken Owasso by storm. Truffle Bites are moist bits of cake that are hand rolled and dipped in delicious dark or white chocolate. There are a variety of flavors to choose from and DeAnna invites you to stop by and sample one soon.
